FULL CIRCLE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit youth mentorship program and baseball camp based in Litchfield Park, AZ, dedicated to bridging the gap between generations of ballplayers. At The Park Baseball Boosters, we believe the best way to master the game is to teach it. We empower athletes to learn by teaching: high schoolers mentor tweens, who in turn guide the youth, fostering the patience and character needed to excel in school, sports, and life. Simultaneously, we provide families with an accessible, cost-free environment that strengthens the parent-child connection by promoting positive health, mental, and social well-being through the joy of the game. If you like the way we play, help us cover our bases with a donation!

A Baseball Story That Starts In Aviation

Our story begins in flight school, where true mastery is found by teaching others. To reach the professional ranks, pilots spend 1,000 hours as instructors, climbing every rung of Bloom’s Taxonomy—from remembering to creating. We’ve taken this high-stakes aviation philosophy and applied it to youth baseball, ensuring our players don’t just play the game, they master it.

Help us knock it out of the park and into the stratosphere with a donation!

Baseball Player’s Levels of Learning (Bloom’s Taxonomy)

  • Remember: Learn the fundamentals—rules, positions, and terminology.

  • Understand: Grasp the why behind the game, like the purpose of a cut-off throw.

  • Apply: Execute skills in real-time, from base running to defensive plays.

  • Analyze: Read the game, recognize tendencies, and anticipate the next play.

  • Evaluate: Develop "Baseball IQ" by making split-second, strategic decisions.

  • Create/ Synthesis: Reach total mastery by teaching the craft to others.

By progressing through these levels, a youth baseball player can move from simply knowing the rules to understanding the game strategically and making informed decisions on the field.

Where most players’ development stops at the Evaluation Stage, we empower the player to elevate their skills to the Synthesis Stage by becoming a High School Mentor/ Player Coach.

Aspirational Modeling

  1. As the player reaches high school level of play and is ready to showcase themself to college coaches, we provide them a platform to distinguish themselves above the rest as they volunteer their time to teach our 11u group. As a player coach, we allow them to create their own lesson plans and run the show for the day. The high school player is reaching the Synthesis Stage, the highest level of learning.

  2. Our 11u volunteer mentor group takes those learned skills, with the supervision of their professional coaches, and applies them by being demonstrators to our 8u group just out of t-ball. The 11u group is advancing from the Application Stage to the Analysis Stage.

  3. Our 8u group is out there just to have fun and fall in love with the game, entering their Remembering Stage. With the showcasing of an advanced 11u mentor, parents can take advantage of a child’s aspirational modeling. Kids like to emulate older kids they admire. Afterall, they’re only 3 years behind them.

Is your child moving up to Coach Pitch or Hybrid? Our first-of-its-kind free 8 and Under camps start this Fall, 2026. Would you like a few of our Volunteer 11u Mentors to assist with your practice in the west valley? We can do that, too. Click on the link below to be added to our interest list.
